Coronavirus Concerns May Boost Ecommerce
When you see an entire country quarantined and the state where you live declares a State of Emergency after the confirmed cases double in 24 hours, and a lot of your friends’ livelihood dries up instantly, it sure does feel like an event worth your attention. And while it certainly affects many people’s livelihoods, there seems to be a positive effect on ecommerce.
According to eMarketer.com, over 85% of online workers in China are avoiding crowded public places, and over a quarter of workers in the United States are doing the same. 58% indicated they would do so if the virus concerns worsen. People are beginning to alter their behaviour to start buying more online and ecommerce is booming. This is a good reason for you to get your online business in order.
