This image was posted by a friend of mine of facebook, bemoaning how people de-value the work of bands and musicians. Unfortunately, the same phenomenon is prevalent in many professions, including website design.  You can have your website built by a high-schooler or your “cousin”, but seasoned professionals should be paid for their work.
